I also bring along a
variety of the following: Books, pictures and posters, artifacts from my visit to the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida -
(survival gear like space food and a space blanket - which someone invariably gets wrapped up in!), binoculars and tripod,
all of which are displayed around the room/hall. Oh, and of course my home-made rocket! (Made from some card,
a camera film canister, some water and an Alka Seltzer, it works safely indoors, shooting up about ten feet into the air!)

Me with someone familiar! In May 2001 I visited Patrick Moore at his home, soon after he had received his BAFTA award from Buzz Aldrin. I interviewed him for a BBC competition and produced a 15-minute CD of the interview in the format of a radio programme. This educational and entertaining interview is available at cost price only to any interested parties |
